I have one aunt that I dislike because she always adds some religious vibe to anything. She gave me a 20 minute lecture once. She tells me that God hates all gays and she made my cousin think the same, now they're both being jerks towards gays, which doesn't make sense because what if a gay is a very strong believer of God, and is nice to everyone he meets, and he'll go to hell, but insulting someone for liking someone of his own sex, and thereby not hurting you at all, grants the homophobic a ticket into heaven.
So biblically speaking, the way you get into heaven is believing Jesus Christ died for your sins. Thats it. Being a good/ bad person isn't necessarily the requirement. And because homosexuality is a sin, just like any other sin, its not bigger or smaller, its forgiven if you ask for forgiveness. Just like I sin everyday, its human nature. If people that sinned wouldn't go to heaven, no one would go. You're aunt is equally in the wrong for spreading hate.
Rabidseahorse is explaining it in the aunts poit of view as a sin. And that she saying it's a sin they're going to hell is biblically incorrect. That in no way it makes sense. Get it. Got it. Good.
Aunt tried to use a point that the overall condition of the world started degrading when people began to reject God and his rules about gays and such. Basically she said that when people began to tolerate and fight for rights of these "sins (gays, drinking, gambling, etc.)" God had no choice, but to turn the other cheek and leave us behind because we didn't listen to him. She is also very angry about Common Core not being able to teach Creationism.
So you found yourself then llamafish? Because calling someone an asshole simply because he doesn't think the way you believe he should isn't very respectful. Ouch! Got ya mate - stings, doesn't it? When a mean old smart person comes along and crushes your little fucking Barbie Dream House of Superiority. Now get back into the crowd with the other brainless parrots and maybe someone will feed you a cracker.
