I am so sorry for hating people who behead soldiers, beat women for dressing wrong, and light little girls on fire for trying to go to school, truly, I am what's wrong in this world!
I'm not defending the actions of many of the so called "goat fuckers", but I think that it's important to remember all the civilians, and the kind-hearted people that's also being killed in this war. Plus, it's not like America (or Norway for that matter) doesn't have issues like beating women, school shootings (not in Norway though), and repression of certain human rights. We have just evolved quicker, their society is in many ways just like America was years ago. I just find it so disrespectful and sickening to not take that into consideration as well.
The Americans aren't the guys taking the human shields.
And you know what, sometimes we have shoot through those shields in order to keep America safe from foreign threat.
Also, American society does not encourage beating women, school attacks have nothing to do with this conversation, and in the US you don't get shot by the military when you try to improve human rights.
What the modern world WAS like does not give those monsters any reason to stay savage.
I take everything into consideration when I speak.
Whether or not you like my reasoning is up to you, but I will defend what I believe.
Edit: Thanks for your support hiapoe. I appreciate it!
Well said famousone! Norwegiangirl what you seem to be forgetting is if they hadn't messed with us none of this would've happened. What about our men and women that's never coming home what about their families what about the ones who come home scared for life mentality and physically the people there who need help are getting it if they take it. Oh and you also seem to forget all the people who's only crime was to go to work and try to provide for they're families on September 11. I love the men and women who choose to take this burden they are heroes.
And also norweigangirl, what you're saying doesn't change anything and isn't really relevant. They killed my uncle, a navy officer, and you're saying our comments are disrespectful? Come on. You're the one being disrespectful.
Im really sorry hiapoe. Really really sorry for your loss. I think you know or hope you do, that we appreciate your sacrifice, your family's sacrifice. Your uncle was brave a hero thank God for men and women like him.
I really appreciate your comment skittles. It was a few years ago now but still not a day goes by that I don't miss him like hell. Thanks again skittles xx
No thanks nessasary my daddy and my uncle were in Vietnam they came home though my uncle lost a large part of his hand but my uncle has since past but at least they made it home
I wasn't saying that America is the same as Iraq, not at all. I'm just gonna end this conversation on my behalf right now, because you are obviously set in your ways and have different beliefs than me. I was brought up in a country that hasn't been in war since WW2, so I understand that I don't have the same views on this that you have. But I still believe that you shouldn't "tar everyone with the same brush" as we say.
"in the US you don't get shot by the military when you try to improve human rights. "
I would say Ferguson isn't too far from that
" if they hadn't messed with us none of this would've happened."
The CIA trained Bin Laden and gave him equipment in order to use him and his allies to attack the URSS
Well what about all the crazy motherfuckers here who shoot up school and movie theaters and are serial killers. We have huge problems on the home front too but everyone chooses to focus their attention the people overseas who are terrorists from afar.
I'm sure most of us would prefer keeping them far far away.
We can't drop everything that's going on just because some problems are closer to home, that would leave us vunerable and then all of our problems would become much, much worse.
And how, pray tell, am I beating my wife?
Besidesif my neighbor hadn't tried to light my house on fire while beheading my cat, I really wouldn't have any reason to have my dog shit in his yard.
Oh easy, she thinks that because my grand father stabbed hers for no good reason (before either of us were born, I might add), she is somehow entitled to my money as 'compensation'.
It's quite petty of her.
That last guest comment has a really good point though. I hate how we have all these problems at home and we're trying to deal with others far away. Focus everything on fixing us; reduce our military to the bare minimum to keep our overseas obligations and homeland defense, and use the rest of the money (and now-unemployed soldiers and whatnot) to build up the US. Sort of like the Civilian Conservation Corps.
If we reduce the military than our enemies and rivals will take advantage of that.
They will destroy our influence, attack our people, steal our interests, and attack our people.
In case you have forgotten, a lot of people want us gone, if we reduce our active military too much further, they will be in a very good position to start trying to hit us where it hurts.
Their will always be conflict within the US, nothing can change that.
Do you truly think letting our guard down is the best way to address that?
Agustinmlt, I'm sorry, I seem to have forgotten that the US is the only country in the whole wide world that has problems with racism, sexism, and shooting and basically any problem at all. I guess you learn something new everyday. -___-
Tylerchu, if we don't have our military "dealing with others far away", then they're going to become a problem at home. Do you not see what they've done to other countries? To the very country they live in?
Why are the US military dealing with people far away? What business do they have there, and what right do they have interfere in the conflicts of other countries?
And when you say 'goat f*ckers', to whom are you referring?
The US is dealing with them far away because other wise we'd be dealing with them in our own country.
We are there because they pose a threat to the first, second, and third world.
We were given the right to interfere when the bad guys broke international law, when they attacked us and our allies, and when their own people started asking us for help.
When we say 'goat fuckers' we are talking about ISIS, the Taliban, Al Quada, Muslem/Islamic extremists, and all the other middle eastern scum suckers that would do harm to the United States.
I'm not saying that we should pull our influence entirely away from the world, I'm just saying that a reallocation of resources might be a good way to start, especially with our bigger expenses, such as military.
We can cut military funding as soon as we kill all of our enemies.
How about we start smaller. We could reduce the overall size of the government, streamline welfare, and stop centralizing healthcare and education.
We could also import less oil and use some of own, and make the US more appealing to foreign businesses.
I think that's being far too kind.
And you know what, sometimes we have shoot through those shields in order to keep America safe from foreign threat.
Also, American society does not encourage beating women, school attacks have nothing to do with this conversation, and in the US you don't get shot by the military when you try to improve human rights.
