This is so stupid it's not even close to be a possibility. Her brain couldn't have a lack of oxygen for that long and have other people know he exists. This person is just trying too hard to come up with stuff

Well, it was hardly perfect. If it really was a fantastic dream then he wouldn't have got his cancer again and gone through that horrible process. I'm not a person who usually disagrees with headcannons but this is taking away from the message and themes of a book that deals with a very sensitive process.
