Norway has invented a bicycle escalator

A lot of people ride bicycles as transportation not even to lose weight

That's a fair point but I would like to be able to ride the whole way regardless of whether I was going to work or not, great way to stay fit :)

Well, you can still ride the whole way, you don't have to use the elevator. These aren't common in Norway (yet), but Norway is a country with soooo many hills, and many people ride their bikes to work or school. So I think it's greatly appreciated here :)
