This is simple. A woman gives birth to a child, and then a few years later wants to have another. I have never heard of a man that wanted another kick in the nuts.
I recently read an article (I don't remember where or how reliable it is) that a group made a machine that can electrostimulate nerves to mimic pain. They did 'give birth' to a guy who'd been kicked in the balls and 'kick balls' to a woman who had given birth, and the unanimous decision was that birth was much much more painful.
