Indeed. It can be indicative of head trauma, stroke, even cancer in certain areas of the eye/optic nerve and brain.

Occurring "randomly" is normal, but if it persists, see a doctor. As soon as it is possible.
Last time I went in for a contact exam they had to dilate my pupils. They were as big as her right eye's. I couldn't read anything up close. I tried to text and it just wasn't happening.
I've had this happen and it was confusing as hell... I couldn't see straight and as a consequence, I didn't register anything I saw (byproduct of another disorder). Plus it kinda hurt :(
I have this same disorder. The doctors say mine is fine to a degree. My larger pupil won't shrink in size so I have to be very careful when exposed to a lot of light or I could damage my sight. Other than that I can see normally and it doesn't bother me at all. The larger pupil is a little more blurry to look out of but not enough to concern my eye doctor. Hope this helps y'all out:)
