With the first one, seriously minimum wage is raised with inflation due to the decreasing value of money as we print more. If you raise the minimum wage you raise the price of goods. Sure, lets raise the minimum wage, and now your $1 meal menu is now a $10 meal menu.

Er...raising the minimum wage isn't what causes inflation. Inflation happens regardless, and minimum wage needs to be raised to keep up with it. Otherwise you're just further increasing the gap between rich and poor.
But at the same time if mcdonalds now has to pay everybody two dollars more an hour the greedy people at corporate will raise prices so they still make the same amount of money. (Cosmos forbid if they only make three billion dollars instead of four) We're pretty well screwed no matter what we do
