That's either quite an offensive jump to a conclusion, or simply just an ignorant mistake in the wording of the statement. It's not one's fault for being force fed images of a celebrities face by each and every single form of media and expect us not to know who this person is. Furthermore, to use myself as an example, I come from one of the more respectable degrees out there, yet I can identify only 6 of those people by face. But this is irrelevant because the people up the top are not known for their image. For all I know I might know all of them, just not by their face. You are more likely to hear or read about them, rather than see them every time you go to a shopping centre. If the statement was perhaps "If you think the person at the bottom has more right to be famous than those at the top, you are what's wrong" then I would agree with you. I'm sorry for the rant and I know people will probably just think I'm being a debbie downer, but it annoys me that people would say this
Starting top left going down then next column : Hawking, Curie, Tesla, Einstein, Freud, De Grasse*, Galileo, Copernicus(had to look it up), Sagan, Darwin.
OMG I'm totally sorry! I'm so stupid, I can't believe I did that, will you ever forgive me? I didn't specify the proper noun and on top of that; I misspelled something on the internet, kill... me... now.
Media forces celebrities images into our daily lives of course we know who she is that doesn't make us bad. I know 4 of the people above only because I don't really care about their names just what they did
...but i don't know who is she
Galilei / Nicola Tesla / S. Freud / C. Darwin.
No idea about the Lady .
