same sex marriage is pretty much legal in almost all of the first world nation. and in usa 32 states have gay marriage. soon to be more

As a christian I agree with this. It's not our job to judge others.

I would have said something much harsher, simply because what I came up with is a better insult. I think that might just make me a horrible person.

If they're not hurting you why are you insulted by them?

Please, homosexuals can't get married because the Government would then have to pay them benefits and give them tax breaks that other married couples get. That is the REAL reason they can't get married.

Of course, there are some of the "progressive" persuasion that are more likely to agree to the second part of that without accepting the first. Scientist are still trying to understand how that is possible. :P
