so when fat people blame genetics, they're lying cuz they obviously eat tons of food, but when skinny people eat tons of food and don't gain weight everyone is jealous. genetics is a real thing guys, and it goes both ways.
It's not genetics when they are sitting at a table with a pizza that's bigger than the table and chugging cola right out of the two liter bottle. It's not genetics when they strap on a bag of cheese doodles like a feed bag. It's not genetics when they gnaw on a three pound block of cheese as a "snack."
.
Far, far fewer obese people suffer from a genetic disposition to be overweight than claim to. Of all of them, they should have even greater dietary restrictions if they have a genetic disposition, rather than "give up."
So you're basing what fat people eat on a photo you saw on the internet? Your generalizations about how fat people eat, referring to them as "strap on a bag of cheese doodles like a feed bag" tells me that you think of them as animals, not as human beings. Saying that they eat a three pound block of cheese as a snack is just a ludicrous statement.
I'm not basing it on a picture from the Internet, I'm basing it on what I've personally seen after having lived in the south for a total of 16 years. I have over heard this in public:
"Aih don know Betty-Sue..."
*nom*
"Aih must hayve one-ah them..."
*nom-nom*
"Thigh-roid thangs..."
*nom-nom, slurp*
"Aih jus can't seem to loose any waiyt."
*om-nom-nom*
As they put away enough food for a family of four by themselves.
I'm genuinely sorry that that is the only impression you have of how fat people eat. I hope that you will at least consider that perhaps a higher percentage of fat people than you currently believe have a true genetic disposition to gain weight. And I hope it is just you joking around or showing off that causes you to keep referring to them in such a derogatory manner.
I know right? People tell me I'm lucky to have a fast metabolism, but really, it's not fun when I have to sit through class being extremely hungry and not allowed to eat :(
Here's the thing, how often do those large appetite skinny people eat? Are they even eating three meals a day? How often are they eating like that?

As that skinny friend, I can say that I eat 3 full meals a day as well as several snacks. Then again, all of my food is healthy and I'm a 15-year old boy, so I eat a lot because I grow a lot.
As someone who was that skinny friend (I'm still thin, but now I have a normal appetite), I ate three large meals a day, plus numerous snacks. It took a lot of food to make me feel full.
I'm that skinny friend and Im eating most of the day (I'm a 15 yr old girl so I guess it's cuz I'm growing like yimmye) but ya any of my friends can tell u that I definately eat enough food
That's a good point, though. I don't get hungry, and so sometimes I don't eat more than a small meal a day, and some days I eat all day long. I used to get a lot of people saying they were jealous because I'd bring 10 piece McNuggets to stage crew... right before lifting a bunch and generally doing a lot of strenuous activity, because they said if they ate one they'd gain weight, but I stay below 100 pounds. What they didn't realize is during those days, that was the only thing I got to eat for the day because I can't do breakfast (I have no appetite in the morning, it makes me sick), and I would be busy the rest of the day except the 20 minutes spent going to get the chicken nuggets.

I wish my metabolism was lower though.
I'm always so hungry.
