Where I live, it got past 40 degrees celsius today (107 degrees fahrenheit) and its not even summer.

In Perth we have a heat wave for like 7 days each summer where it will not go below 41 degrees, and we are at the fucking base of the country!

Yeah, Brisbane got up to 42 today and its not even summer yet! Then we have floods to deal with in January
