*coughs* exscuse me, I know it took two years to do this but apparently they've found alot of skeletons from animals and humans but some skulls had cuts along the neck vertebrae and it indicated some form of execution. They also found many axes with blood stains. They believe the site to be an execution/sacrifice ground.

If you are somewhat perplexed by the true meaning of Stonehenge, look up Newgrange, older than Stonehenge and a lot more impressive too
