Last time it happened local to me the truck crushed a minivan and burst into flames, by some absurd stretch of luck the driver of the van got out alive he just had a broken leg and a few cuts.

Open stretches of road like that are prone to high speed winds (50+ mph) and high profile vehicles like semis especially if empty can be blown over relatively easy. A four mile stretch of interstate highway near me is open on both sides plus on top of a mountain, wind gusts of 70 mph have been recorded there. usually four or five trucks a year end up like this right in that stretch of road. Last truck that laid over spilled 5000 gallons of raw milk from a local dairy farm that was a week ago and I still swear I smell rotten milk!
