Found 8 years after suicide

Some guy committed suicide because he believed nobody cared about him. It took eight years for anyone to bother to check how he was doing. Nobody cared to check on him for eight years. His point was proven.

That's what I thought, but I also thought maybe there was a deeper meaning. Not to mention it was kinda vague, so no need do downvote it because I didn't understand. But thanks for clearing that up.
