Every restaurant employee can relate to this

when i put my closed sign up people ask me that or come to my line im like can you read? or when people ask if im open when i obviously am, i just look at my light isle and dont say a word. im a checker btw not a waitress :P

i went through a 24 hour Mcdonald's drive thru in Detroit and was told they were closed , i questioned if they were 25 hours, they said yes, but they're closed, i'm still confused
