Yeah yeah laugh it up now. You won't be laughing when I become a game developer and release an awesome game exclusively on Mac to shame those who claim PC master race.
All snark and hardware superiority comments aside, that's one of the most economically foolish things you could do... try to release a title intended to be influential and/or successful exclusively for Apple OS.
.
No Mac exclusive title has ever been considered triple A. Ever. If you ask most anyone about Marathon, they think you're asking about the race. You will never achieve market dominance and widespread success when you are releasing exclusively for a system that has only a 13% market share at MOST.
.
Secondly, no game has ever reached massive widespread notoriety when created and run by a solo developer. Even Markus Persson brought in and hired people once Minecraft started gaining traction. It took a while team to make it what it is today.
A team that will also tell you, to your face, that you are a fool for releasing exclusively, probably even override you... If you even make it that far with an Apple exclusive title.
.
Don't let that stop you though. Go for it.
Yeah, that's true. Really, I got a Mac because I think the Windows OS has been going really downhill. It's complicated and hard to find the home screen. My mom is horribly technologically illiterate and Mac is good for her. I can't do much as far as gaming, but I do what I can.
On my Mac
