GUYS, I think selfie stick is a great man invention. I mean, I think it's a big help if you want to picture yourself with an amazing background or with a group of people behind you. I don't know why people on social media are so negative about this.

Here's another problem, they use a bluetooth transmitter to connect to your phone and trigger the shutter... but most of them are unlicensed. It is therefore an FCC violation to even own one, much less use it.
If the proliferation of selfie sticks carries on unabated and unchecked... the noise of so many unlicensed bluetooth transmitters could render that band unusable to people with legitimate devices. Not only does that include the obvious headsets and speakers... Playstation and WII both use bluetooth for their wireless controllers.
