I come from a family of 6 kids & my Mother came from a family of 6 kids as well. We were legally poor but we had everything we ever needed. We had a home in a nice neighborhood in a good school district, we had a warm bed for each of us, we had new clothes each fall, a new coat each winter, and a new pair of shoes every 6 months. We also had full bellys, toys to play with (not a lot but it was the 90s), we had good health, 2 hard working parents, and we were loved. SO we didn't go on vacations EVERY year, we maybe did 4 times total. SO we didn't have toys RIGHT when they came out, BUT my parents worked hard to get what we wanted & we loved it more for it. SO what if our things never had a brand name, or we were never wearing what was IN. BUT guess what we didn't care because we were raised to look at the world & find beauty & humor.
BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY I am happy to have my 5 brothers because even though I call them idiots or butt heads, I know when the worst comes I won't be alone.
Preach it sister-
You can't measure lives, such as kids, with money.
The kids, they are people with dreams and hopes-
With fears and nightmares.
They are heroes and villains,
scaly-wags and knights.
They have people who love them, and people who they love.
They are stories.
Maybe, the parents thought their child was lonely.
Maybe they wanted a big family, full of life, of chit chat and love.
Maybe they had a few "accidents".
Either way, they became a family~
and that's completely fine, parents seemed happy, kids are happy. I think the post is more about those who're so poor they want dirt, but they still go off and have more kids.
It's hard to be happy when you're hungry, ask any kid at an amusement park.
Why is it people on the outside can see those children as lives and people while the "parents" that have way too many kids just see them as paychecks. Either from "baby daddy" or from the state? If you live your children, you need to have some sort of way to take care of them. Don't be destitute with 3 kids and go ahead and have another one (or more?!)
I'm from a family with six kids and I approve this statement.

because family is more important than money. And being poor from a lot of kids is only temporary. As long as you raise them right and love them and pay attention to them, it'll be all right. The attitude on this meme sucks.
