And if aliens do exist, they're either not really that advanced, or just don't find us worth interacting with. I don't blame them, I wouldn't wanna interact with us either.

Either we are alone or we are not. And both possibilities are scary.

I actually got into a pretty serious argument with my dad over this... He says we were alone and I say that we're not. Argument actually lasted about two and a half hours.
If we're not alone there are few possibilities, 1 they are too far away for it to matter, 2 they are either too advanced or of too lower a life form to care, 3 they and us will never exist in the same time frame of the billions of years old universe. Anyway we will probably never meet
Even if it is nor intelligent, with billions of planets around billions of stars, there has to be some plant, algal, fungal, animal, protist something.
did you never consider that God made other life on different planets? Why would He create such a huge, immense universe only to focus life on a single planet? I personally believe there is a God, and I don't believe that he would create such an incredible universe only to leave the rest for nothing in favour of one tiny planet. I believe God loves every single being on this planet- but that doesn't mean he couldn't love others on other planets.
