I've actually done this.

Cleaning up my dogs poop cuz we lived in a apartment. I put his leash on the door and he tried to get to me. The leash closed the door and locked it. I had to walk to the front office in my pj's to get an extra key. :(

That kind of lock can be picked with a dinner knife or a screwdriver.

I don't know what's more dumb; you locking yourself out, or that you carry your keys on a lanyard. Are you in middle school?
