The hoverboard and the Nike MAG are not predictions that turned out to exist by 2015: they were especially designed for fans of the movie.

Wasn't the hover board made before the movie came out? And they just didn't put it on the market because it "wasn't safe".

Not to pick nits, but in BTTF2 it was a device called "Mr Fusion", which turns any material into fuel, not just biological material. He puts a banana peel in, but also an aluminum can and it's not-so-living contents.
