My dad and uncle are police officers and they're nothing like what ignorant people think. They're normal people who are just doing their job. It's upsetting that people think the way they do about them because of a few unfortunate events and misleading comments.

The police officers aren't the bad one, the ones that give them the orders are mostly the one responisble. But still, if American police can't encounter any dangerous situation without killing the suspect/criminal, I think they need some new training or new officers.

OK do you realize if they reported every pollce shooting do you know how many there are that are justified. You would hear all the time how police shot it out with a gun man and nobody got hurt. The media is biased and only reports stories that get a reaction. Police are trained to act as if the assailant is going for their weapon and to defend themselves they want to be able to go home at night.
