I'm not sure what your standards are, but my parents are like
Unless you can skip your finals and still have above 98%, you have to go to school. Even if you're coughing blood. And have Ebola. And AIDS. And herbees. And you don't even go that school.
I know it sounds bad, but I skipped a lot of days just because I didn't feel like going. Like, if it was the Friday before we went on break, I wouldn't bother going.
Not at first, but then I got sucked into my depression and I pretty much stopped going. But I'm not going to school at all anymore, so it wouldn't really have mattered.
