Privacy laws are pretty strong in France. Anyone recognizable on a photo taken without permission can sue you. http://youtu.be/VYH87V6EHrk

^ as it should be!
But seriously it looks hella creepy like look at the last pic
Why not just blur it or cover it up with color
"I'm going to smear these people's faces with black grain to make them look like spawns of satan!"
why the heck would you be so butt-hurt that you were in the meaningless background of some stranger's picture that you feel the need to sue them?

^ because privacy??
Consider this: when a person runs away from an abusive partner/parent, etc (legally of course) they are extremely strict about their privacy so that they wouldn't be found. That's one of the reasons why some kids in school refuse to get pictures taken for yearbook. In one case an abusive father found his runaway wife and kid on a picture online which allowed him to track and murder them (who were in a different state).
Ah I see. So we're living in total paranoia now. I don't believe"privacy"includes some "right" to never be seen in public. If you're that concerned with showing your face, then simply don't. Putting some innocent stranger through hell for simply taking a casual picture is a very selfish way to deal with your insecurities.

It's not "selfish", and it's not just an "insecurity". To be honest the way America is so unrespectful for privacy online regarding people's pictures always shocks me. I've been to many other humor websites from different nations and all of them cover people's faces when they're posting pictures online. That's the way it should be.
