Or at least, it would be hard to punch somebody while high. Now, if they're in withdrawal, something would probably happen.

In my experience, cannabis withdrawal is comparable to caffeine withdrawal. You're irritable and headachy, but probably won't act violently unless you're a particularly short fused and uncontrollable person to begin with, in which case it's on you, not the lack of cannabis.
