The only reason I've never had to wear pajamas in a school building is because I commute 45 min to get there so I end up waking up early and getting dressed nicely, but I'm pretty sure if I lived on campus I'd be at the library in pj's
We actually have a special day dedicated to wearing pyjamas to school, but other than that we respect the dress code. I find it weird that someone would actually wear pyjama pants to school.
Firstly: Colleges don't usually have dress codes
Secondly: The lounge areas are typically in the dorm areas. It is perfectly fine to wear pjs in the dorm. The dorm is the home, and it is normal to wear pjs in the home.
Yeah sure, because the first thing high schoolers would visit is the dorm, preferably every student's room, and take photos of their beds.
The way I see it, the person who wrote the post wore pyjamas somewhere else like the school's library or something like that, which may not be violating the dress code, but it is unhygienic as hell. You're gonna sleep in the same clothes you just went outside in, where people sneeze on it and you sit on dirty chairs? Your choice, but this is the reason some things just aren't socially acceptable. Not because we're all judgmental pricks, but because if you keep doing this, you're gonna catch something and then spread it onto us. Sorry, but I like being healthy. I also like people who don't smell like they wore the same clothing for 5 days straight.
Wait, are you in college? If not, then you have no room to talk. You have absolutely no idea. Who the hell are are you to judge what people are wearing? Maybe they changed when they got back to their dorm? Pajamas are comfy. If someone wants to wear them, more power to them. Their choices don't concern you at all.
I'm someone who actually fucking knows that some things are appropriate and some aren't, unlike you wise-as-fuck college kids. Being in college doesn't grant you or anyone else magical wisdom. Your sense of superiority and being misunderstood (boo fucking hoo) is completely misplaced here.
The point is, yes, pyjamas are comfy, but your argument "maybe they changed" is nonsensical. People who're too lazy to dress in jeans are guaranteed to be too lazy to dress into "outside pyjamas" as well. That's how it works. And we're getting back to the spreading diseases and smelling bad thing.
Wanting to dress comfortably is perfectly justifiable, but blaming your laziness on others, calling them judgmental because they wear clean clothes and expect others to do the same is stupid. You won't justify your being lazy by trying to persuade the others that it's all actually their fault.
"Wanting to dress comfortably is perfectly justifiable, but blaming your laziness on others, calling them judgmental because they wear clean clothes and expect others to do the same is stupid."
Did anyone blame their laziness on others? No? I didn't think so. But nice try. And yes, it is judgmental to point and snicker at people because of what they are wearing. I mean honestly. Pajamas are the exact same as every other piece of clothing. Maybe they find them more comfortable than jeans. Last time i checked, you're nobody to judge whether someone is allowed to wear jeans or sweats or pajamas because it affects you in no way.
Very well then, I'm sorry to offend your incredibly wise choices by my terrible judging because "I'm nobody to judge". Bitch, is that gonna be what you tell a customer/colleague when they ask why are you wearing sweatpants to a meeting? Well you're gonna get your ass fired pretty soon.
Your clothing tells a lot about you. If you wear clean and nice clothes, it's a sign of being an organized and neat person. If you wear something that looks like it came out of a cow's ass, you deserve to be judged and laughed at. It says about you that you're lazy as fuck and not organized at all, and are probably that kind of person to whine and cry and blame other people instead of working on yourself to reach better results. Low willpower, laziness, extreme whining...yeah, that'd be it.
Ewqua, you can have your own opinion on an idea, but don't you fucking dare start insulting people simply because their idea is not the spitting image of your own.
That was not an insult. That was a description of what people who don't even dress up to go somewhere usually are like. The "you" was used to just describe the person. If I wanted to insult you, I wouldn't put the "if" in there.
Heaven forbid someone doesn't dress in a 3 piece business suit to go study.
She(he?) Was sitting in the LOUNGE. It's like a giant living room for the people that live on campus. We have one where I'm at on each floor of the dorms, and there are countless people that sit in there in their pajamas to study and do homework. But wait? They should be judged because they're "not dressed in nice clothes."?
Which is why you downvote literally everything I write.
I don't even care anymore. I probably shouldn't have meddled in things I "don't understand".
I always considered hyginene and a bit of self-respect a natural and obvious thing. So I really don't understand.
Wearing pyjamas in a Lounge is not unhygienic, nor does it portray a lack of self respect. The only lack of respect, self or otherwise, has been portrayed by you, and your repeated efforts to give the last insult.
You and I both have a different idea as to what hygiene means, I guess. My idea is that pyjamas = for sleeping. If you want to be comfortable and hygienic, at least wear sweatpants.
"Force my opinion on people", "got me into trouble". HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! *brushes a tear of laughter off*
Do you see me threatening you or anyone else near you? Do you see me giving you some ultimata, "or else"? Of course not. Discussing and/or arguing on the internet is nothing to be so offended about. You can just click the "unfollow comments" button if you feel like I'm "forcing my opinion" on you. This is the internet. Everybody has their own opinion and they're not afraid to express and defend it. You don't know me and I don't know you. We can't actually do anything to each other unless you think me expressing my opinion is "cyber bullying" or some other bullshit.
And got me into trouble? What's that about? My world is not going to fall apart because two college kids thumbed me down.
You have your opinion and I have mine but don't accuse me of forcing my opinion on people when I was just expressing it. If I hurt you with my comments then I'm sorry, but you need to grow a pair.
I'm not saying they don't. You can express your opinion any way you want here, as do I. If you're referring to the 'accusing' part, accusing doesn't always mean being loud. Check the dictionary.
Do you even have a point are are you just replying because you have to say something now?
2. Just wait.
Fill in the blank

Either way, I suggest that you just stop.
