''Too bad''

Once again, the vast majority of the oxygen we breathe is actually produced underwater, mostly by bacteria. Still, trees are essential to the Earth's ecosystems, which we are a part of, so... Yeah, too bad we have evolved into a whole species of ignorant d-bags.

Atleast here in Alberta, when we cut down an area of forest for oil sands we replant about the same amount of trees we cut down

I plant hundreds if trees annually. The state wouldn't let me put up a wind turbine or a cell tower though.
