This clearly explains my travel patterns. Straight lines are always faster.

Or if you have all locations discovered like me you can fast travel

When I play skyrim, I can't find the fucking path to high hrothgar and then it suddenly appears 10 hours later

Has anyone played morrowind oblivion and skyrim?

This is totally true, though.
I wanted to get to Solitude, but I veered off of the path to avoid enemies, so I ended up taking a much longer route through a fuckton of snow, mountains, bogs, rouge camps, and potential doom.
