This is an accurate description of holding your child for the first time.

I think Neil P-H did the best job ever on this scene.

Didn't he? He is so versatile! Man I loveddd that show so much. But I don't know if I can ever forgive that ending. It was heartbreaking! It kinda felt like.....a slap to the face;) haha.

NPH is just a great actor. Honestly, I would have been okay with the series finale if it ended at Ted saying, "And kids, that is the story of how I met your mother"

Yeah! That would have been great! I would have (spoilers) appreciated them keeping Robin annd Barney together though! And making Marshall happy in his job! Oh well.

I don't know what the producers were thinking in splitting up Barney and Robin. It made a crappy season pointless.

I'm a little late, but I absolutely HATED how they turned the whole show around to be all about Ted asking his kids if he could date Robin. First of all, how many times did that not work and second, (and the main reason it pissed me off so much) remember that episode where Ted finds out his parents are divorced and they kept it from him for some odd years and he tells them how one day he's going to tell his kids every excruciating and minor detail about him meeting their mom, yet it just ended up being his way of trying to get his kids okay with him asking out Robin. I felt that that really tarnished the mom's memory, too, like she wasn't even worth having that story dedicated to.

This is beautiful but can I mention that it looks like the baby is raising her eyebrows.

So the baby is called Ellie, and at NO POINT did Barney ever say legend-wait for it-Ellie. And that was the biggest missed opportunity of our generation.

The finale was really bad - this didn't make it better... like, why a baby? Kinda ruined a lot...
