I thought of rapunzel from tangled same green eyes right?

At first, I thought it had been Rapunzel with short hair (I was looking at this site over my brother's shoulder), but I realized it was Aunt Cass from Big Hero 6
this is why I liked it when they animations were hand-drawn and not CGI. The old Disney women looked individual, it was easy to tell them apart. Now it just seems to be a matter of change the outfit, hair and eye colour (half the time they don't even bother with the latter) and bam you have a new character. In Mulan, it's easy to see that the characters are of a different ethnicity. In Big Hero Six, the only character of Asian origin who even looked remotely Asian was Hiro- GoGo and Tadashi, didn't see it at all.

I think you're going too far there. How does anyone not see that Gogo and Tadashi are asian?
For me, Tadashi's name and hair colour were the only give-aways, and GoGo has never looked remotely Asian to me. Might just be me, but I've never seen it.
What can Disney do to make them look more Asian then? Make their eyes stretchier? (I can say this because I'm Asian) According to your viewpoint Hiro wouldn't look Asian either
actually if it isnt because of their name, i wouldnt know them being japanese/asian either, usually disney will make the character eyes more slanty ( yes i know that not every asian have slanty eyes, but most of them are and that's the thing that distinguish the race ) or have yellow skin like what disney made in mulan
Hiro's design was more prominent because his eyes were large so the design was more noticeable. I just feel like with the CGI animation, they're following one base for all the characters. The 2D characters in Mulan are much more obvious in their heritage by their appearance- you can tell immediately what race they are. If you look at Tadashi, his eyes often appear almost identical to say Hans in Frozen (to me at least). I just don't think their taking full advantage of CGI- it's supposed to be an opportunity to be more creative and even authentic with their style, and they're playing it VERY safe. It just seems like they haven't settled with CGI as well as they were with 2D- they've limited their creativity.

I don't think people should accuse Disney of "using one base for all the characters" or sprout up stupid criticism unless you have majored in computer animation or have studied it to extensive depths.

...I don't think you need to be a major in anything to notice when things look similar. I wasn't accusing them of it, I only meant that they seem a lot less creative with their designs now than they used to be, and I honestly have yet to like one of their computer animated designs because they all. have. the same. face.
And it's pretty obvious a lot of people are noticing- or this post and many others on the topic wouldn't exist. Don't try to get all high and mighty because you know more about the inner workings of the animation- my point was, they're designs aren't anything stunning anymore- faces look the same. You'll find that the vast majority of their audience have NOT majored in computer animation, but are still capable of noticing this. Because you don't need to know the inner workings of the technology to see the similarities. You just need eyes.
