Yup, just believe a random picture on the internet. You do realise that the United States has the most powerful and in some units best trauned military in the WORLD.
Man for man though, I think the Indonesian special forces "Kopassus" takes the cake for hardiest fighter. They train with live fire and I think they're expected to break bones and continue like nothing happened.
That is practically how every special operations unit ever trains. The Navy Seals are rated no 1, but Delta Force would take the first place. The problem is they do technically not exist, like most US special units.
While I know from first hand knowledge the U.S. Army does follow many of the rules and regulations and tactics set forth as doctrine, there is also quite a bit of "well the book says this but this way works better". Then there's the fact that most of our prescribed methods of doing something were usually written by people who wouldn't know the situation or topic they're writing about if it jumped up and slapped them in the face. Winging it has always played a factor in how the Army gets stuff done.
