My parents are pastors too, but in my case, I tend to creep out other pastors kids. Wearing all black to pastor's family gatherings, pulling out my knife and cleaning my nails, making fandom references at random times and saying the exorcisms I learned from Supernatural. But tbh, Pastor's kids can actually be the worst behaved, they can break every law in the bible and preach the next day. It sucks really.

Is true though. I'm also a pastors kid and I'm the same way. I freak out all the other PKs. But i know most of them are some of the worst behaved people i have ever met but there parents would never know because that are great hypocrites and are "perfect angels" on Sunday... it's crazy

Exactly! Like I know I'm not perfect, and my dad knows it too, and hell, he's making sure we both do our best to practise what he preaches. But other PK are out clubbing, getting wasted and drugging on saturday nights and they're leading worship on Sunday mornings. And their parents know about it. Wtf. My dad would break my legs before letting me stand in front of the congregation after behaving like that.

Deadpool007 its the same with me! I wouldn't be able to see straight if i was out doing that stuff and my dad found out. Lord knows in not an angel but I'm not a demon either! That's why i don't always like to hang out with other preachers kids. We are pretty much the same person it sounds like. The sad thing is that it is REALLY bad here in the south or "bible belt" is what my dad calls it. Crazy

I don't hang out with other pastors kids at all. I'd rather be with my friends, who I know are good people, than PK's who pretend to be something they're not.

Oh my goodness. Someone finally understands. I have always been surrounded by PK's who act like complete douche canoes. And then at the same time, I'm willing to let my no-longer-a-drug-dealer friend borrow my car if he ever needed to. You guys are honestly the only people who has ever agreed with this. Thank you.

Literally most pastors kids are the worst kids I know. So many turn out terribly. Many I know are hypocrites and are the exact opposite of their parent. I go to a Christian school and I am repulsed at how these kids are allowed to call themselves Christians. I get that christians can mess up but there has to be a distinguishment between them and non christians. I know a girl who prays the most everyday and most frequently in one of my classes and she had a foursome last Friday. It just makes me sad how I'm associated with all the bad Christians too.

And then those terrible Christians go do so many Christian like things like go to bible study, go on mission trips, or start a fellowship group and the adults love them, not seeing the crap they do to other people. The adults think they are so Jesus like and they are leaders and it makes me so pissed off. I try my best to be a good christian, and I can't be perfect, through my actions and words and kindness to other people. Adults don't notice that stuff because i'm not starting a bible group or going on mission trips. My ex-boyfriend was emotionally abusive and cheated on me but still lectures me on being a better Christian. His current girlfriend will never know how terrible he is because they met at bible study and he will only be on his best Jesus behavior there. I don't go to bible study because of the fake Christians that usually attend.
