I'm a christian and I do not believe the human population was created from Adam and Eve.I don't actually believe in a lot of storyes from the Bible and I just think they're metaphors. We asked this question to our priest and he told us "If you bring 2 cows on an island they would breed and make an entire population" but I think it's dumb to compare cows to humans.
Yeah, same goes for me. I'm just a level below a hardcore Christian, minus the gay-hating and no meat on Friday sort of thing. I think that even though we're supposed to believe those stories, we should kind of do what we feel. In fact, there should be a religion where it's just, I believe what I want from this faith.
Sephoria, that seems to be how most religions do work, especially Christianity. I personally think religion also functions as a moral compass, and if what they're saying seems wrong to you, it's your choice of whether to believe it or not.
Not really, though. Some religions are like: believe this or you're not a part of us.

True. I think it also depends on your particular church/part of the world/part of the country you're in.
Most of my family's Roman Catholic (not me) and none of them seem to believe the exact same things, but they all still accept each other. I think it's because they all go to a church that's very accepting of differing views.
Actually, the first one is a religious belief, so no saying whether it's wrong or right. The second one is extremely badly explained evolution. Evolution says we evolved from a common ancestor to monkeys, not monkeys themselves.
