Not implying we don't need a Navy, its just the Navy then was just after World War 1 and it was gigantic. We already have the largest Navy in the world, and the most powerful one.
And Romney keeps the conversation going by bringing up useless, irrelevant information? Obama is far from a playground bully, he's simply pointing out the obvious with a dash of sarcasm.
Why do we still have horses in the military? It's changed, yes, but old school techniques are not completely unexpected ... that's what makes them work. Should we stop reading The Art of War because the nature of war has changed since it was written? Politicians are fools.
Are you serious? Do you know what happens when you use old battletactics like cavalry and things like that in new times? They tried it in the first world war and it was a disaster.
sometimes the old way isn't as good as the new one. most of the time things change because they didn't work to begin with so they have to use new and innovative methods to succeed.
I kinda get what the guest is saying, the tactics are still very much used, yet guest needs to realize the type of units used in employing such tactics have changed, which is what Obama is getting at in his argument
But Romney does look so done at that point
"Hell dumb that was so stupid Lmao"
