Please don't downvote me, but wasn't it until recently that Americans got rid of the half dollar? Coz I still have a half dollar from when I went to the us a few years ago
If it is from the US, it's not real. Only '43 pennies were steel.

Must really suck balls if you were to be remembered as the person on the half cent.
But it would be really cool if you were that guy that got on the five dollar coin.
I have a couple dollar coins. They're legal yet so many places go "ive never seen one of these before" when I try and spend them sometimes. I keep them for the most part but they are legal to spend. I also have a two dollar bill and Mexican peso for no apparent reason :)
At the Canadian mint in Ottawa if you take the tour you get to hold an actual bar of gold at the end. Because of its shape, smoothness and extreme weight, it's very difficult to actually get a grip on it. Once you do, it's heavier than you'd think. Oh, and it's guarded by 2 guards with assault rifles.
But it would be really cool if you were that guy that got on the five dollar coin.
