You know, I use violence on a daily basis, usually when I'm saving the world. Also, I may have freckles, but I'm still ugly.

Biggest pile of shit I've heard. I had confidence enough to ask a girl out once, in middle school, and rather than her just saying no she threatened to call the cops saying I was harassing her. I asked her out, I was hoping for one of those bullshit middle school relationships where all you do is say you're together and that's it, and had never spoken to her before. So now I have no self esteem or confidence with girls. Hell, it's hard for me to talk with females now because of her so I don't really have any female friends.

I agree with guest. There was this guy who at first I found "ugly" and he liked me so I tried to keep my distance as I didnt like his personality either (I feel bad he even asked me to go to a dance with him and I said no), but he kept trying, he became a good friend, teased me all the time, he thought he was the eight wonder, and one night he just kissed me, he just had the confidence to do it and then we dated, he was never handsome but he was cheerful, he had the confidence to go up to anyone and talk to them and he made me like him because he liked himself. So metalman if you are blaming a girl for your awkwardness and inability to talk with girls, that's sad. A single rejection doesn't define you, you were not confident before and you should just accept yourself, you are making an excuse not to talk to girls

So if you went to ask someone out and they threatened to call the police on you that wouldn't affect you? How about if they did it in front of your entire class? I've had low self esteem my entire life due to my father and that deeply affected me because the one time I did have the confidence to do something rather than a simple no they threaten something extreme.
