I was going to pretend to be French for when I moved to college. I kept it up for a day, but it sort of went downhill after that.

I pretended to be a transfer student (I'm Asian) for a week at the beginning of the school year. I would pop in other people's classrooms and stay there until the very last minute and I would chingchong and dingdong so people thought I couldn't english.

You sir/madam, unsure which, are a hero. I couldn't keep up being French for a day. I remember someone asking me to say something in French, all I could come up with was 'chien'. Thought it meant something else, turns out it means 'dog'.

I can't even speak Asian; I forgot it all after I turned 10. I just made racist sounds and called it good and it flew pretty well.

Hey, at least you got away with it, right? To be honest, I wouldn't have been any wiser either if I was in that class.

Speak Asian? There's actually more than one language in Asia so...

But it all sounds more or less the same to a non-speaker.

this is funny but...this happens all the time with immigrant children. they get out of work just because they can't speak English. it's not fair and it's not helping them at all. it certainly isn't helping them learn English any faster either
