Poor kids that is one of the worst things to catch, all you can do is cough and cough until you're so d*mn sore you want to die or end up shredding your lungs or breaking ribs, and then if you're lucky enough to survive it you end up with breathing problems for life!
Yeah first off do your research, 'if you're lucky enough to survive' rarely anyone dies from whooping cough. Only if they're infants or the elderly are they likely to die.
I had whooping cough when i was ten and yes it was horrible but I recovered perfectly and I have no breathing issues now and neither do any of the other people I know who have had it
Well I have to spend $400 a month on breathing meds directly related to having whooping cough, and my brother who was five at the time died from pneumonia caused by whooping cough so personal experience in this case trumps research which looks at a static definition which isn't by any means one-size-fits-all.
Yeah and your comment is a a one sized fits all either
Yes your family was very unlucky with whooping cough but the majority of people, like me and others I know, recover with no further implications
