Unrealistic romance standards are impossible to meet while living in the city

I live in the middle of nowhere. We can see plenty of stars and rarely do I ever see anyone else go stargazing.

I live in NYC and haven't seen a single star in over 12 years or so

I can see a couple of stars from where I am.... sometimes....

I live in apartments and they always have the flood lights on in the parking lot so I hardly see anything. I feel your pain!

I know it's not the same, but you can always look at the city lights.
