That is the law today, the safety restraint has to lock as designed by the manufacturer of the ride for you to be allowed on. Maybe the restraint was poorly designed and couldn't hold her in even when locked? That or they had some really weak laws in '78.
Nah, you see, people want to be jerks to other people they see as having a self inflicted deficiency. People love nothing more than to feel superior to others.
They might mean like how people say skinny people need to eat, fat people need to stop, and vegans choose not to eat meat ?
I don't hold those views, but maybe that's what they meant ? It sounds better in my head.
There's being polite and there's being honest to prevent someone from danger. Don't tell a girl who weighs too little for her height and keeps losing weight with dieting that she's perfect as she are. Don't tell an obese person who keeps eating junk food and doesn't excercise that he/she is perfect as they are. That's fucking dangerous for their health. People too often scream discrimination when they feel offended. A woman once tried to sue Lufthansa because they would not let her become a pilot because she was to small. She said that's discrimination. I say if it's not safe to fly a plane with your height then it's not discrimination if someone wont let you fly a plane. Some people try to tell you that no matter who you are you can do everything you want - but that is not true. And you don't help people when you are pretending it is.
Unfortunately people can't help the way they are. I'm not talking about everyone Im talking about the people who actually get hate for what they look like and what they eat no matter how hard they try. The people who are called anorexic because they can't hold body fat, or the people who are obese even though they work out to the point of exhaustion, or vegans who eat the food they eat because of religious purposes. They can't help it, and it's fine. We shouldn't shame them. We shouldn't judge either. Not everyone is perfect so we should be happy for what we do have.
If you're being vegan and breastfeeding, yes. You're starving your baby because apparently meat has stuff that protein-vegetables can't provide which babies need. If you use formula to supplement then sure, carry on but all breast milk with veganism is a bad thing.
who cares about vegans? I sure as hell don't. Who cares about what anyone believes as long as their beliefs don't hurt anyone else? Be vegan if you want. But don't hurt your baby and don't brag about your veganism. Do whatever the hell makes you happy without bothering others.
People, because you're not skinny you're automaticity "fat". We shouldn't bring people down because of their weight. You should try to get them to be healthy, but don't be mean.
That's the point I was trying to make about spanking a while back!

Skinny shaming's a thing now, too, though. Some people are honestly healthier at different weights to the average. Sure, if you're genuinely worried about a friend or family member, talk to them, but calling from your car to some random stranger on the street to skip a meal or eat a burger? That just doesn't seem right.
If she was too fat for the bar to hold her shouldn't they have made her get off beforehand ?
I don't hold those views, but maybe that's what they meant ? It sounds better in my head.
