I likes to use an example, which seems sort of grim as of recent happenings, but I'll say it.
You wouldn't let an unfit captain fly a plane, so why should your brain and body be any different ?
I used to be an A* scorer but my parents kept telling me I wasn't good enough. Guess what? Depression struck! Kinda just hanging onto sanity atm. I love studying but I am never able to put it on paper; just can't get around to putting in an effort anymore. So I can relate. Just being a good sport and deciphiring what the post says. It obviously doesn't mean, one goes full retard and drops outta school. Education should always be the top priority but neither should mental and physical health be put to risk.
I'm really sorry for the long post. Have a good day!
This is what is frustrating, there's so much pressure on kids and even adults to do well and to get top marks etc but no one ever seems to care that sometimes there's too much pressure. Yes obviously it is good to get good grades so you can get a good job and have a good life and everything but when it's 2am in the morning and you're cramming for an exam that you have tomorrow and you're hands are shaking and you can barely write because of it, then it's honestly time to take a rest and care about yourself and what the effects are now because if you continue to push yourself, soon enough you could quite possibly push yourself a bit too far and the result of that could be catastrophic. Please guys, your mental, emotional and physical health should come before anything else, no matter what. Sorry for the long comment
