Exactly! This is how I eat (for health reasons, I'm definitely not the "spot the vegan" crazy preacher) but when explaining to people when I go to a restaurant or a new house for dinner, it can be tricking because not everyone knows what a pescatarian is. It's easier to just say "I'm a vegan that eats fish" because people know what that means.
I have a friend like that and I asked her the same question she said that there's plenty of fish in the sea so she don't really feel guilty contrary of others animals I kinda don't understand it because I think that fish are like others animals and they feel pain too
@guest - nope, I meant vegan. I don't eat any other animal products, no eggs, dairy, etc.
@vodka - I stopped eating animal products for health reasons, mainly that my body doesn't break down that type of protein very well. Fish doesn't bother me in the same way, and it is delicious! In fact, once a year or so I'll break down and have some hot wings or something as a treat :)
I never understood the theory behind this... A fishes dead is usually more painfull. They just suffocate or get crushed between all the others to dead for quite a long time.
Aren't vegans supposed to not eat animals at all? Vegetarians eat fish because they don't eat red meat, but vegans are supposed to stay away from animals and animals based foods period, right?
I had a vegetarian friend and she explained the difference because someone called her a vegan in 7th grade.
I could be wrong, but I thought that's how it's supposed to go...

I'm a vegetarian but eat fish when it's absolutely necessary. For example I'm borderline hypoglycemic so I have to eat often to avoid getting sick. One day when I was at my uncle's memorial service they only had subs so I had tuna to avoid my blood sugar dropping. So I guess you could say I'm a part time pescetarian.
Lol, they're vegans but the're eating fish. The type of animal that people need to have restrictions for because if we fished any more, they would be in serious danger, and are also in danger of pollution, radiation, and littering. OKAY THEN!
