Yes and just get another one for the other arm, but made of soft materials like string or fabric and just match. It would look amazing, quite fashionable too
Its a 3d printed concept cast, they are actually working on it same as prosthesis that instead of costing thousands of dollars can be made for hundreds.
If I read correctly about this it's a very strong plastic every bit as durable as bicycle helmet and it is also waterproof inherently. 3d printing stands to be a massively beneficial tech and its already close to being affordable with some printers costing as little as $1500.
Is it just me, or does that REALLY freak me out for some reason? Looking at the arm with the cast on it looks so wrong, but I can't stop looking. Like when you see an accident happen on the street.

If someone actually had surgery and used this as a cast they'd be in some deep shit. Risk of infection and stitches opening would occur.
If you scratch through it and you have an infection it would become worse plus a cast is designed to protect a cut etc from the outside elements insects chemicals and heat can go though this cast and injur your arm further
Not really sure if you had surgery on it you would need a regular cast but if you just had the bone set then there is no need for the wrappings and such being that the was no cut or anything to get infected
Oh i got it us know some fruits come with those white nets wraped around them that's what he's talking about and no you can't because this is rigid and strong while the fruit thing is elastic
So...someone is funding it.
