I've seen one once, and it was awesome. It might be because there were a family of ducks following it.

I live in Washington, and they are everywhere. One the size of a chair blew into my car and made me spill my noodles.

I'm guessing that you live on the eastern side of the Cascade mountains

I've only seen them in eastern Washington. I like chasing after them and catching them.

Yeah my whole valley turns green because of them and they're all fine and majestic for, eh, two weeks? Then we're stuck with hill after hill of ugly, brown fire hazard.

We don't have any in north Texas. When I was on my way to NM and went through west Texas we kept seeing these GIANT ASS ones.

I saw one once, but that was after I died, so I don't think it counts

I have seen these live...in AZ..they are big and green, then they dry and the wind takes them on their travels...same in WA..green in spring....TUMBLEWEEDS...go back to the 40's for the song 'Tumbling Tumbleweeds'.. A western song...Gene Autrey or maybe Roy Rogers??....still popular for old country song lovers...
