It's unfortunate how true this is. The butthurt over being politically correct as opposed to getting meaning across is astounding. If I want to interchange "black" and "african american" I'll do so and to hell with what you think because I don't argue semantics.
Actually...
Isn't America one of the only places that uses the term "African [whateverthehell country you're in]"? I'm 98.6% sure that almost all of Europe/Asia/Africa landmass and the Australia-area, use the term "black person" as opposed to "African British" and "African Australian". Technically, "African Americans" have to be descended from slaves IIRC. Some black people aren't slave descendants. Obama sure as hell isn't descended from an American black slave, therefore I believe it's incorrect to call him "African American".
King said "content of your character" He was right. If you act like a thug, rioting and looting with your pants halfway down, I'll judge you by the character I see. White or Black, doesn't matter.
I have a dream that one day my kids won't be too scared of cops to look them in the eye or walk away from them or in any way be involved with them in case they get a broken neck or bullets in the back.

That truly is racist.
