At this point we need less people to reproduce. The population crisis is a real problem and we are running out of space, especially with the advances in medicine which help people live longer.

Exactly. Reproduction may have been important several hundred years ago, but at this point, we would actually be better off with less people having kids. Plus, if the only aversion people have to someone being gay is the fact that they can't reproduce, then they seriously need to get over themselves. There are plenty of straight people who can't reproduce.
