They don´t. If they have to, they´d make him super big. They´re just making him at least same height as others, so... Well, I´m actually not sure what come after this "so", but I think they mean it as that people won´t be making jokes on his height in comparison with other actors or that it just looks good when guy is taller or same height as a girl...

So basically he can't be short because we're all so bigoted and picky, is that what you're saying? (Believe me, I'm not attacking you personally, it's just the general opinion I don't like.) It's normal that some people are shorter than others. It's also perfectly fine if a woman is taller than her male partner. What sort of narrow-minded society are we living in that makes an actor wear hooker heels in order to 'not look weird'. So not being the same height as others makes you weird?? The fuck?

I think it's to fit the character. For example Hugh Jackman is 6' 6" or so, but Wolverine isn't that tall, so they put other actors on boxes to make them as tall

there's app 7 billion people out there, plenty of those with acting abilities and you're telling me they're putting people to stand on boxes because it's so hard to find a taller guy to fit the charachter? or are you telling me Wolverine and Iron Man as charachters would be less cool if they were a tadbit shorter or tadbit taller? Christ.
