Can I ask what´s AP? People keep talking about AP testing and I need to admit that I´m genuinely confused...

It stands for Advanced Placement. The class is supposed to be harder, and if you score well enough on the final exam you may get college credit.

For AP classes you take a national exam that is scored 0-5, if you get a 3 or higher you are generally exempt from taking the course in college. I don't know if you actually get college credit for it, but you can start more advanced course and take more electives then.
