I went from an iPhone 5 to an HTC M8 to an iPhone 6. I absolutely love android phones. But I just feel more comfortable with iPhones. They are both great phones. Only think I don't really like is that you have to buy a lot of stuff on the iPhone where as android phones it's for free.
There have been studies that prove that iPhone users spend far more time using their phones than android users. iPhone also gets apps first and better upgrades. I don't like the fact that if you buy an android you have to hope and pray your apps work with your version of software. All Apple products get the new iOS at the same time (this is also why there are more complaints, since 100 million devices get the update rather than 1-5 million at a time, there are bound to be more problems discovered). apple users also spend more money on buying apps (for apps that are in android too). It's up to you, if you don't actually get the good apps, that "freedom" is useless.
Guest never have I ever run into a problem where any of my apps won't work with my software. Ever. Been using android for 5 years and that's never happened to me. And the google play store has come so far in that time period. Now it rivals the app store. I've also never run into an app that's only available in the app store. Any company that wants to make a successful app makes it in both iOS and Android because there is demand for both.
For example, I bought my nephew a tablet for Christmas, and it can't be upgraded to the new android OS (it was a year out of date at the time, but it was already at the max OS). It's funny that you say you've used android for 5 years, which means you've never owned a apple device. Can you really call anything a master race if you've never used the other? Exactly
The funny thing is how I constantly hear android users talking about how much better their phone is, yet I see no one lining up to but their products and announcement of a new device is never national news.
I've had my share of apple. You can have more than one device you know... And the tablet you bought your nephew must have been pretty cheap or old because I've been using tablets and always get the latest update as soon as they come out. Nexus for the win. And are you fricking kidding me about the lining up for a new device and it being national news? Cmon. Android users are smarter than to wait in a line for days just to buy a phone. Also you clearly have never heard of Google I/O and all the Samsung events announcing their new products. And you can quote fictional characters all you want but that doesn't make it true. Finally, I could find just as many links explaining why android is better than apple so that link you provided is pretty much useless. Please come back when you have some real arguments.
Actually stark you are right, his is a bad argument. The only thing you've brought is your own biased opinion, I provided links and had a logical argument. So sorry to disappoint the rest of the crowd. Try bringing some sources an then I'll talk to you. Otherwise your whole argument is "this is how I feel" which is pointless
You brought one very opinionated link. Your argument is biased too. Your argument has zero logic. I countered all your crappy points and now you feel you have to get back at me. Just stop.

Look here's a link from the same site saying 6 reasons android is better. Pointless. The same website saying two different things. Not a whole lot of help. Apple is better at some things, android better at some things, give it a rest. If you actually had an argument I would love to continue this debate but at this point you're just spouting crap off that doesn't follow any logical reasoning, so just give it a rest.
I believe you are the one who asked for an argument and started with "android is The master race". If Android were really that great you wouldn't need to keep defending it. Your "point" about android users being "smart" enough to not line up is freaking retarded, that's because there is far less demand. You say you know what your talking about? You sound like an android rep.
Sorry was sleeping. Not an android rep. Guest all of your arguments now are invalid because you used the wrong form of your. Also, in an argument, YOU DEFEND YOUR POINT THAT'S WHAT AN ARGUMENT FREAKING IS! I do know what I'm talking about. As for demand not being there, that's BS if I ever heard it. There have been 1.6 BILLION android devices activated worldwide, with many thousands being added to that every day. Android takes up 75% of the world's market share, which means by simple math we can assume there is more demand for android than apple. So please tell me there isn't demand.

I have a windows phone and I love it. The only annoying thing is when companies advertise their apps and they're only for apple and android.
Haha, it works fine, except when info basic stuff like want to watch YouTube, or get apps. Other than that, it's great! There's a reason it was free.

Actually it works awesome 95% of the time and most company apps I don't care about. The annoying thing about that is the assumption that I have apple or android. Every platform has strengths and weaknesses and this is the one that fits me best.
YES. THANK YOU. Also, its just the majority of people that will assume you have an apple or android, because they're the two biggest competitors. Anyone tech savvy will include a windows phone and occasionally blackberry in the questioning.
Considering you based your opinion off having an android Phone and nothing else, I don't need too much more. However if you look at the demographics of who has which phone there are a few companies that require blackberry use, but everyone else has gotten rid of them. Windows phones are also a huge flop (the only redeeming quality is the camera and the price). www.forbes.com/sites/markrogowsky/2013/07/18/if-you-havent-seen-a-windows-phone-lately-its-because-theyre-practically-disappearing/
Blackberry phones are crap I agree. And windows phones aren't my cup of tea and I hate apple, but as a tech savvy person I know they exist and make up almost all of the phones of the market. I get the feeling you just like arguing with people too.

I'm fully aware of how small a percentage windows phone takes up in the market. They've still got pretty awesome stuff and it's going to get better when Windows 10 comes out this fall.
I think it's windows I'm not sure but basically you connect your windows 8 to your XOne and then you can be playing GTA and skyping Bob and watch a rooster teeth video on your laptop
That's pretty awesome. For android there's Chromecast which is cool if you don't have a smart TV you can play whatever on your mobile or laptop and stream it to your tv. There is also the nvida shield which can stream from your computer to your tablet.

Wow I missed a while conversation. I'm excited about continuum. From what I understand, I'll be able to use my phone as an extension of my pc and vice versa. It looks like they're making it all one OS for pc, tablet, and phone. I think that's cool.
I'm probably getting downvoted for this, but I have tried both android and iPhone, and I must say I find the iPhone more convenient and easier to use personally.
Isn't it funny how you can just know that people will downvote your comment just because you have a different preference than most on a post where you should be able to discuss your views?
If you have tried them both and just prefer apple, that's fine. You are allowed to have preferences and opinions. I just hate the people that worship apple and claim they're perfect and will pay out the nose to have the next product. I talked to someone that had an iphone and I told him android is better and he said he knew android was better but he had an iphone because it was "more well known and popular." Those kinds of people I hate.
