Yeah, apparently it was created by someone to show how easy it is to manipulate people

The spider one was used to prove how fast rumours can spread.

I'm pretty sure most people know but it is an easy route for movies to take because it opens up possibilities like Lucy

Just watched Lucy yesterday. It was the most nonsensical movie that I ever watched. There were a lot of cringe worthy moments in that movie, like when Morgan Freeman started saying that with >10% brain usage, we'd be able to control other people. I was like - this isn't sci-fi, this isn't magic, this is nothing!! XD

All sufficiently advanced science is indistinguishable from magic, and all sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science

It's funny how you had to use the word "analyze".

Also The Lazarus Effect (Horror movie) Also promotes the same thing that we only use 10% of our brain

Is the movie any good? It has really negative rating but I'm thinking of watching it if the acting and things aren't like a low budget crap.

We use one hundred percent of our brain, but we don't have direct control over one hundred percent of our brain (we don't control our emotions 100%)

Actually scientific studies have shown we use about 13% of the brain a close friend of mine is a scientists and researched it, however the movie Lucy is beyond fake of the brains full potential was unlocked we would never forget things and our life span would be increased

So you're saying that 87% of our brain is just a blob that does nothing?
